- To provide activities for the Centralia area youth that promote: Sportsmanship, Family Values/Fun, Fitness and Education
- Provide fundraising, financial assistance, and general support to Centralia Parks and Rec.
Membership
- Membership is open to all individuals in sympathy with its purpose.
- Meetings/Minutes open to public. Meetings held 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Centralia Recreation Center

- up to a $1,000 scholarship given to Centralia High School seniors

- Centralia Friends of the Park (CFP) is a Missouri non profit organization, and is a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt organization.
- Overall betterment of the community and youth through the various educational and athletic programs led by CFP.
- Many volunteer opportunities within the organization to help benefit youth in the community.

The reorganization and combination of the duties and responsibilities previously held individually by the Centralia Friends of the Park and the Optimist Club of Centralia have created a great opportunity within the community to incorporate more opportunities for growth and advancement for Centralia’s youth.
