Rhonda Hatton was appointed as the city’s treasurer in 2017, and has lived and worked in Centralia most of her life. In her capacity as city treasurer, she reconciles the city’s bank accounts to the city’s general ledger each month. She prepares the monthly city treasurer’s report for the Board of Aldermen showing the fund balance of each respective fund. The city treasurer’s role is very important to the city’s accounting system as he is an independent review of the monthly accounting of the city funds.
