Sanitation Department
In the fall of 2016 after the retirement of a long-time Sanitation employee, the City of Centralia chose to outsource the sanitation service. Through a bid process, the City chose Dayne's Waste Disposal to handle the trash and recycling collection for residents within the City of Centralia. The City does have a recycling trailer located at the Street Dept. building on South Street for City residents to dispose of recyclable items at any time.
